Trouble is, my MDF sheets are only 6mm thick. I'm making a flat surface to place over the carpet in front of my workstation at home so that I can wheel my office chair more easily. (It sinks into the carpet and is difficult to move when one is sitting on it.) A few years ago I joined two 6mm sheets butt end to butt end and I did it by cutting several U shapes along each edge, then cutting small "tabs" to fit into the U cut-outs. The tabs had to be a snug fit. I used PVA glue both on the edges and around the tabs. I reckon I'm going to have to do the same thing again.
Nice tip brow, thanks.
how doyou take out a wood drawer that has ball bearing runners
They usually have spring tabs somewhere. If they are similar to whet I have here they are in the side, and accessible when fully extended.
This guy is the best at explaining 155 to 110 I now know what I needed to know
Something about this guy is just nice to watch. Learned a lot!
It’s his accent the pace and full knowledge without confusion
Thank you! This was very informative. I did not clearly understand the differences in the hinges. Wonderful!
This man does not tolerate criticism well. He just deletes critical comments.
Which comment?
What this guy says is 100 percent true I've got the same gun . It's good for 30mm nails but 50mm only works on soft wood
Hello, how do you measure the area of a rectangle?
After just used once ,it doesn't work, how to refund...
Battery power too week...
Thank you. I understand why I need the 155 degree hinges now. Thanks!
Great warts and all review, like the price as I'm a little reluctant to spend anywhere north of $500 for something that gets used only periodically. Probably worth considering. Thanks.
what the hell, I thought this was about converting binary to ASCI?????
thanks man. This helped me out

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on how to install door hinges correctly! I was having trouble with my own installation and your video was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process. Your step-by-step instructions and clear demonstrations made it easy for me to correct my mistake and get my door working perfectly. Thanks again for taking the time to create this helpful tutorial!
Only got one battery with my unit. No spare. 😒
Hi @helmreich just saw one of your Video on Portable Edge Bander can you Pl let me know where can I buy it?
Where can I buy Portable Edge Bander?
The screen is black so I can't see a thing😢😢
I don't know why :/ It obviously plays for others. Maybe software updates?
Marvellous mate
This was just sanding
Very helpful review. Thanks
did You find out how to take out this drill chuck? instruction method does not work for me either
I learn't something today. My box will be smaller than yours and I'm using 9mm MDF so hopefully it works.
Great video. Has helped me determine that I need 155º hinges. I have 40mm thick doors, but the blum installation guide says max 28mm thick. How thick is the MDF you used in this video? When you stacked a second sheet on it, it appeared to be similar to 40mm... if so then I think this will work for me :)
Always helps when you turn it on. :)
Improves performance somewhat ;)
Thanks mate,I'm doing a home reno and I have been looking at these online because it'll be a one use job but was worried if it was up for the job. I've already bought a Paslode framer second hand for bigger stuff but needed something for second fixing and you've kind of allayed my fears of it just being a cheap trashy gun👍
Mannnnnnnnn this video is a hidden gem!
using mdf for cabin ceiling we have been told to put a V in the joins. How can this be done and do you recommend it please?
matching router bits
What is the solution?
Hey mate do you know if there’s a battery adapter for this to plug a Milwaukee battery into it? Cheers
I have no idea :/
If anyone knows I’d love to know thanks heaps🤙
Thanks for sharing!!

Great video would like to see some more metabo tool reviews 👍
I have heaps of Metabo tools, would love to :)
Excellent video. I like how you applied K.I.S.S.
The actual virtual machine is not my work, but I simplified the setup process by creating the simple script. On the google drive you can see references to the original creator. It's pretty easy :)
super helpful! I appreciated the honesty that this was a "feeling" exercise as opposed to precise calculations.
There's something satisfying about turning an idea into something to share. :)
To modernise laminate bench top with rounded edges is it possible to slice of the rounded part and attach straight edge so there is an overhang and paint , or other idea?.
No the laminated pieces won't be flat enough for a match. It is usually cheaper to replace the bench tops with new than buying the materials and trying to fudge a repair or modification..
Works fine, thank you!
Any particular nails you'd recommend? I've just ordered one, but have been offered a bunch of Makita 16ga straight of various sizes, would they work with this?
Thanks, the video help me understand the difference between both hinges, thanks for the explanation 😎👌🏻
Not even close to a "Getting started' video. Really Dude really? Learn how to teach.
That's a bit caustic. Where did he lose you? What could he have explained better? If the video presupposed some knowledge, your feedback would be much more valuable if you were able to identify what point that was.
@@samhughes1747 An issue that must be stressed is where the help menu is and how to use it. Going at a slower pace and sticking to two or three commands. The title of the video led me to believe it would be a beginner video because of the "| Getting started|" in the title. You tuber at, John's Basement 7.66K subscribers, has the format of a getting started video that I was looking for. Ultimately I enjoy viewing several quality videos on the same subject for learning cad, software and electronics. So yes you know the program, have lots of knowledge, however lack teaching skills. Do not feel left out. Many of the videos for learning a computer programing languages also make huge learning curb mistakes.
You should make the crevice tool longer it would be perfect between the car seat and center console
How is it mounted in the rear of the jointer, and is the unit slightly turned in to the fence?
I can not find any help on the internet for removing the lazy susan in one of my base corner cabinets and adding an L shaped shelf. the cabinet is 24 " deep 32" long on the back left &N 35" long on the back right. the door opening is 16" w 29" high. the L shaped shelf would be 18 deep x 32" L x 35" L. it appears to be impossible to do a one piece shelf. I am not opposed to 2 shelves off set or two pieces joined by heavy gauge brackets/braces. I found one that used the 2 shelves one on each side (off set) but no instructions.
so haard to watch it with a black background 😒
Yeah, it really does need a bigger screen, and to be ran at HD 1080 to be visible. Unfortunately CAD works with fine lines.
@@HelmreichJoineryBemboka I think it's more your choice of CAD's black background and fine lines that's causing the problem on for your YT viewers. Obv use it when you're designing, but for YT videos it really does need to be a light background, easily switched in 'Options'. You can also change line thickness in >Layer Properties Manager >Lineweight column >Lineweight. HTH!
Awesome finish and a great demonstration Would like to understand more about how you mounted the feeder. Looked like it was on an auxiliary table. Thanks
The felder combination machine has a few table segments.
